medical applications. Our Medusa nanoparticulate technology is designed to
deliver therapeutic proteins, peptides and other large and small molecules
injected subcutaneously. Our Micropump technology is a multiparticulate
technology for oral administration of small molecule drugs with applications in
controlled-release, taste-masking and bioavailability enhancement. Our
Trigger-Lock technology is an adaptation of Micropump designed to prevent the
misuse of medications subject to abuse and to avoid dose dumping in the presence
of alcohol. Our expertise in polymer science has also been instrumental in the
development of a photochromic eyeglass lens product that was launched by Corning
